25 Years of Living Through History
First major market correction hits. The team panicked. Clients panicked. Hard lessons were learned about managing fear — in markets, and in people. That same year, Bharat's daughter Khimaya was born. He has never looked back since.
The worst year in global financial history. Lehman Brothers collapses. Citibank's share price hits $1. The BEES offices go quiet for months. And yet — before the year ends, Bharat's son is born. The worst year professionally becomes the most transformative year personally.

The Secret Sauce
In 2004 — the year of BEES' first major market correction, when the entire team was navigating their hardest test — Bharat Bagla's daughter Khimaya was born. He says he has never looked back since.
Her name is a deliberate twist on 'Kimaya' — meaning divine. And that is exactly how Bharat describes her: the magic, the good luck, the charm, the blessings, the divine.
Years later, when talking about the BEES philosophy — that the queen bee represents the client's capital, and every worker bee exists to protect and grow it — something clicked. Khimaya, the one everything exists for, the secret sauce behind 25 years of BEES — she was always the queen bee. He had never consciously made the connection before.
